Because Japanese Yukata material is woven in rolls that are approximately 14 inches wide, we have cut the pieces of Yukata to yield approximately the same amount of square inches as an "American" fat quarter.

All pieces measure approximately 14 inches by 27 inches. Click on photo or paragraph title to see pictures of available fat quarters.

Material by the Yard

When Yukata material is printed, the design is often not equally distributed throughout the roll, because of the construction of the Yukata.   Sometime it is possible to sell by the yard and sometime it is necessary to sell by the design.  We sell Yukata material with these special printing constraints by the yard plus.   Each piece will be so measured and sold.
